There is something endlessly magaical about seeing a seedling push its head above the soil for the first time… in the case of sunflowers, still with the seed casing attached for the first inch of its life. There is also something endlessly infuriating about a kitten who thinks the seedlings tray has been a nice move by us to up the quality of his indoor litter tray… the seedlings now have to sleep the night above the fridge as it is one of the few places kitty can’t reach!
